The Eight Characters and Zi Wei Dou Shu (紫微斗数), a Chinese character dictionary

For example, if a person has a Zheng Guan (正官) in the Heavenly Stem in the eight characters, it means that the person will have a position of power and honor in his/her career; if there is a Hong Luan (红鸾) in the eight characters, it means that the person will easily become an artist or attract the opposite sex; and an Orphan Star (孤辰) indicates that the person's destiny is more difficult. Different combinations of the Divine Fate represent different destinies and fortunes, and people can plan their lives and directions of development through the Bazi Divine Fate.

Zi Wei Dou Shu, on the other hand, is an ancient school of fortune-telling that uses the star Zi Wei as the basis for its development. The star Zi Wei, which has an important position in ancient astronomy, is endowed with mysterious significance. According to Zi Wei Dou Shu, the position of the Zi Wei star in the sky at the time of each person's birth is unique, and by projecting and analyzing this position, one can arrive at a person's destiny, good fortune, bad luck or misfortune. Through Zi Wei Dou Shu, people can understand where their weaknesses and potentials lie, and can plan a suitable life and development according to their destiny.

Both the Bazi Divine Fate and Zi Wei Dou Shu are the conclusions reached by people through the study of astronomy and calendars over thousands of years, and represent the wisdom of traditional culture and the trust of the heart.
